How it works
Submit your release
Send your album and artwork, then set a fan goal of 100 or higher.
Your drop hits its goal
Fans back the drop. Cards are held, then charged only at close if it funds.
We press and ship
The run is pressed and shipped straight to your fans. No inventory on you.
Why press with DirectDisc
Set your price. Keep up to 70%.
You set the retail price, so you control your margin. Pricing is transparent per disc, with no hidden platform cut.
100 fans unlocks the run.
Not 500, not 1,000. Your fans pool their pre-orders, so you get volume pricing without the solo bet, and zero unsold stock.
Retail-grade. Every disc.
Full production quality, every order. Full-color disc printing, jewel case with tray card, retail-grade packaging, and consistent quality at any quantity.
Submit and done.
Built for independent artists and labels. Add your release and artwork to our templates, and we handle the rest.
The pressing collectors notice.
Asia-pressed premium tier with obi-strip packaging and import-grade print and finish. Reserved for larger runs, with a 500-unit minimum.
Physical media is back. Your fans want something real to hold.
Not nostalgia. Ownership.
Your fans fund the run.
Back a drop during the campaign. It's pressed only if it reaches its goal, so nobody takes the risk alone.
Questions
When am I charged?
Never at pre-order. Your card is held, and you're only charged if the drop reaches its goal by the closing date.
What if it misses the goal?
The campaign can extend up to two weeks. If it still comes up short, the drop closes and nobody is charged.
When does a drop close?
Every drop runs on a fixed schedule and closes Sunday night, so you always know exactly when the countdown ends.
When will fans get the CD?
Once a drop funds, production begins. Standard orders ship via USPS Media Mail after manufacturing and quality checks.
